CBD FAQ
What is CBD oil?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally-occurring constituent of industrial hemp (cannabis sativa) plants. It is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis and is being scientifically investigated for a number of reasons. Most people have heard of a cannabinoid called THC, which is the ingredient in cannabis that gets users high. Unlike THC, CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and does not cause a high.
Both hemp and marijuana are from the same genus and species (cannabis sativa). The characteristic of having low THC is the single difference that most rely on to distinguish industrial hemp from marijuana.
How many drops of CBD should I take?
Every person responds to CBD differently and will most likely take a different dosage. Starting out we suggest using a small dosage and increasing only after you are comfortable with your body's response to CBD use. As always we recommend consulting with your health care provider before use.
How do I take CBD?
For best results, we recommend putting drops under your tongue and letting it sit for 15-30 seconds before swallowing. You can also mix your CBD oil in with your favorite food or beverages.
